A few months ago a group of us former Nitehawks were brought together by the idea of forminga Beaver Valley Nitehawk Alumni Association.

BEAVER VALLEY NITEHAWK ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AT A GLANCE
We discussed some past initiatives like Alumni Hockey games, fund raising golf tournaments, and social events and we were interested in forming an off ice team that could support our past,present and even potentially our future players.
We are bound by our past connections to the team, our past team mates and the Beaver ValleyCommunity and with having this opportunity to create to the greater good of the team and the area.
After meeting several times, we had enough momentum to create an officially incorporated
Alumni society, with some specific goals and purpose. We have four main goals that provides focus for our team:
The purpose of the association is for former players of the Beaver Valley Nitehawks hockey team to work together to:
1. provide financial support to the hockey club in terms of offering scholarships and financial assistance to current players.
2. offer career and educational mentorship / networking advisement to current players from former players.
3. provide social opportunities for former players to gather, examples being annual alumni hockey games and golf tournaments.
4. Provide a social network that supports the members of the association each other in terms of addiction, mental health or emergency.
